During each two hour class, students are provided with a number of
different choices of projects to work on. The class is broken up into
periods of experimental work, class instruction and individual instruction.
Although there are structured elements to class time, the program always
stresses choices.
Students are divided by broad age groups and the subject matter of the classes
is taught accordingly. For instance, in the 3-5 age group, the emphasis
is placed on pre-reading skills and small and large motor skills. As the age of the student increases, more emphasis is placed
on drawing and painting realistically.
The finest quality materials are used, as excellent materials will, of course, yield better results. All materials in children's classes are non-toxic.
